What kind of goose is this? Several of them hang around a nearby lake with a bunch of Canada geese.
Google thinks it's a mallard.
Has anyone ever gotten a correct answer from searching on Google for the image? I haven't.
Looks like a hybrid of Canadas and Barnyard whites.

There are a few barnyard whites mixed in with all of them, so you may be right about a hybrid.

A couple, but I had to search through hundreds of suggestions.
Many times it's not even on the same planet.

Could be a hybrid. While I've never seen a hybrid goose (that I'm aware of), we do see many hybrid ducks here at Clear Lake, CA.
Given the differing neck feathers coloration, might some be juveniles. #1 has one with full black neck.
