I cannot imagine anyone, with a sense of humanity, who appreciates beauty, will even think of destroying this piece of art, under any circumstances. Many of those building in the images, can never be duplicated, or replaced.
It is a loss to civilization; a loss to humanity; a loss to the world.
Pray for peace. Pray for Ukraine.
This is the most concise, comprehensive, and educational piece on our lakes, i have ever seen, not to mention the great photos.
Thank you for taking the time to share this memorable post with us.
Nice shots! photographed an Osprey with a sword fish. He landed on a dead stump and beheaded the fish before could could swallow it head first. I used a Nikon D700 with Nikon 80-400mm lens.

I contacted my cable co. To call me, you have to press 8 to connect. Robots don't know how to press 8!
It cost me $2.50 per month. It saved my sanity.
I have 4 Nikon cameras, and several zoom and prime Nikon lenses. But when I went on a cruise in Europe, 3 years ago, I bought the Sony Rx10 Mark 4. I still have it and love it! The 24-600mm built in f2.4-f16 Zeiss lens, is incredible. Low light? I took pictures inside cathedrals and other buildings, and all came just fine. Besides, the camera weighs only 2.5 lbs.
I recommend it highly.

1610. Everything was designed, carved, and built by hand! Amazing! I wonder how long it took to build that church, and how many of the builders lived long enough to worship in it.

It looks like skeletal pelvis of human female.
Ding Darling Park, Venice rookery, Cape Coral for burrowing owls and eagles.
I bought the SonyRx101V for a cruses vacation in Europe. It was fantastic! I have other cameras and lenses, but now, 90% of my photography is with the Sony. Good luck!
