Goat Fence!! Ours were always in the Barn Yard, behind the fence, so that they would not go anywhere and get into such mischief. Funny story though! One thing that I learned about goats, They Stink! More than all the other Farm animals! Great pictures of the kids! LOL

A Whopper Indeed! Any idea what kind of spider it is? Is it poisonous? Do they jump? How close were you? You don't have to answer these questions, just curious, I Love shooting spiders too, no matter what kind they are! I'm impressed! Great capture!

I like the question and I like the answers. They all fit very well in to my thoughts about why I shoot. I think, (I Know), that God has given each one of us the ability to see what most people don't! Being a photographer helps me to slow down in this fast paced world that we live in, and actually see the Vibrant Beauty around us, and to capture it and then show others what they miss, and to see in our own photos, "What We Missed" as well!

Jamie asked his dad to explain the difference between irritation, aggravation, and frustration.

His father picked up the phone and dialed a number at random. When the phone was answered, he asked, "Can I speak to Rolf, please?"

"No! There's no one named Rolf here," replies the person who answered the phone.

The father hung up. "That, my boy, is irritation."

He picked up the phone again, dialed the same number, then asked for Rolf a second time. "No, there's no one here called Rolf. Go away. If you call again I'm calling the cops," the person said.

The father hung up and said, "That's aggravation."

"Then what's frustration?" asked Jamie. The father picked up the phone and dialed the same number a third time.

"Hello, this is Rolf. Have I received any phone calls?"

Saw that elsewhere on the net. It's worth sharing further.

So, have your "start of summer" festivities...

but please pause for a moment to reflect on the thousands of lives that were never lived fully because they sacrificed for us.

It's Memorial Day.

AHHHHHH, I have found that with battery packs and spare batteries that you "DO" get what you pay for! I bought some after market batteries for my D80 and my D5100, and had better luck with a "Nikon" purchased battery. The others just did not last as long and did not recharge and stay recharged like the Nikon batteries. I am ready to buy a spare battery for my D7100 now, as well, and will definitely buy from Nikon!

It was actually about 2 1/2 miles away from where I was. The next day I went to where It was and found No significant damage. Just leaves blown from trees. I was as close as I ever want to get as well!

Storm Chasing last night was very exciting especially when this Rope Tornado came, seemingly, out of nowhere, touched the ground for just a few seconds then pulled back up. More storms and Tornadoes possible for today.
