I was out last night in Oswego, temp +2 with 20 mph wind with my Nikon D7100 (magnesium body) and the batteries froze in camera. So I placed an extra battery in each shirt pocket and went about my business. When one battery froze, just switched with a warm one... bothersome, but no big deal.
If you still have it on March 1st, I will buy it then.

A mount will not work on any Sony a7, nor on any e-mount aps-c cameras
Bronco- I'm sorry, but we got iced yesterday and last night and I had a small fender bender that requires immediate attention, so I will have to pass on the camera. Please accept my apology.
I'll buy it if you can wait until Wednesday
Here's a Great Blue from Oswego harbor(NY)...
There are some nice photo opportunities on the Blue Ridge parkway and Skyline Drive... at least there was 20 years ago...
I liked #3, and it looks an awful lot like my friend Rick's place... great photos...
Of the 2, I like the first; however if you could have omitted the road altogether, I would have liked that best.

There are about 8 different Nikon 50mm f1.8 lenses, and I believe the sharpest is the AI version.
Save that money and trade in your plastic camera for something real; perhaps a d7100 or d7200...
3000 and 5000 plastic, drop it, forget about it: 7200 metal, better everything, drop it --- pick it up and continue shooting...
