Definitely.

It still amazes me that a TV can run off a 12v battery.

It really doesn't. The UPS is converting 12 V DC to 115 V AC. The TV is still running off 115 V AC.
I also use UPSs (APC brand) and am very happy with them. I do wish their surge protection had a higher rating. It's fairly easy to find power strips with better surge ratings.

Computers don't need to be very big anymore. We now have Mini ITX motherboards and m.2 drives for storage. Unless you need a DVD drive, hard drive(s) for storage, or very powerful graphics card for gaming, you don't need a large case. I built a very powerful computer (water cooled, graphics card, etc.) in a small case (Lian Li Q58) that will do anything I need. And I do some Video Editing. Small Form Factor (SFF) computers are now very popular with DIY builders.

Apple support told me to call Canon. Here we go on the merry go round

I've had them tell me that several times. It just can't be a problem with an Apple product.

I installed Aomei, and I'll use that tomorrow.

I'm interested in your feedback as I am considering switching.

Does the free version do incrementals?

There isn't a free version of Aaron's. I think it's all subscription.

Try Aomei Backup or EaseUS To Do Backup.(that may not be the exact name).

incremental backups are not included with the free version of Macrium. You can only do full and differential with the free version.
Also, there will not be any more updates to the free version.

I don't believe YouTubeTV has the History Channel, if you care.

I don't know if this is Windows or Apple. If this is Windows, try looking in the Recycle Bin to see if they were accidentally deleted.

It's been called the largest meltdown in aviation history. The software that Southwest uses dates back to the 1990s, and it's not up to the task of scheduling thousands of flights and thousands of employees. They saved a fortune by not upgrading their software, but at what cost?

The same thing applies to people like us. We might think our 1990 software is just fine, but as computers change and our workload changes, upgrading our software might be appropriate.
It's been called the largest meltdown in aviation ... (show quote)

I would bet that old software is still being used in our utility companies. Some day the electricity grid will collapse. Are the utilities secure from attack? I bet not.

This is pathetic: "Stream our best shows of the year," from the History Channel. They list their best: Alone, Oak Island, Mountain Men, American Pickers, Skinwalker Ranch, and Bermuda Triangle. There is nothing real about any of those shows, and calling them their best is sad.

I watch most of those shows with Skinwalker Ranch my favorite. Are they fake? Probably. Do I care? No.

Curious - Is Wake on LAN available in Win 7?

It's been a few years since I used this feature. Actually, I may have been on Win 7 at the time. I think this is dependent on the network adapter features more than the OS. This will probably require you to enable this in the BIOS/UFEI. There are a number of instructions online on how to generate a "magic packet," as it's called.

Interesting, I just press the down-arrow.
(Actually any key.)

Yes, everyone does that. We were discussing software waking a computer. The Wake On Lan feature is used to wake a sleeping office computer from a home computer (unless you live in your office, then you can just press any key).
