Has anybody used a Beeline or Mini IT11 for Processing

I am looking to upgrade my computer system to more efficiently handle Topaz and was discussing it with one of my grandsons. He has the Mini IT11 and it seems much faster than my Optiplex. He also mentioned Beeline as an alternative.

I am hoping one of my fellow 'Hogs has some experience they would be willing to share.

First of all download a free trial of the Topaz product that you are interested in.
Personally, I would start out with a Topaz Photo AI free trial and use the default settings

I just got the Mini IT11. I use Paint.net, and G’mic for digital processing.
Mine has an Intel I5, 16 gigs of RAM, and a 512 gig ssd.
The computer is incredibly fast, and renders my photos in seconds.
Don’t know exactly what you’ll be using it for, but it suits my needs

Thank you Jimmy. I already have the Topaz Suite, it just takes a long time to use Denoise (3 minutes) or Sharpen (4 or 5 minutes) on my old Optiplex which has has 32 gig of Ram and an Intel I7 but the graphics is built in and I can't speed it up or replace it. It runs PSE fine but I find I really appreciate the Topaz products.

I think I will make a second post asking for recommendations for a reasonably priced computer (<$1,000) that will handle Topaz.

Thank you for the reply. The Mini IT IIs seem like really great little computers, I'm just not sure they will handle the load Topaz would put on them. I feel sure they would easily handle PSE.

Best of luck with your new system!

Computers don't need to be very big anymore. We now have Mini ITX motherboards and m.2 drives for storage. Unless you need a DVD drive, hard drive(s) for storage, or very powerful graphics card for gaming, you don't need a large case. I built a very powerful computer (water cooled, graphics card, etc.) in a small case (Lian Li Q58) that will do anything I need. And I do some Video Editing. Small Form Factor (SFF) computers are now very popular with DIY builders.
