With all that hose, it sure does look like some kind of a gas powered, portable pump. But then why the apparent tank that it sits on? Fuel for the engine? Seems like a lot of fuel for such a small engine.

Interesting for sure.

Not racist in the least bit! Just a fun play on words. You might be a little too sensitive.

I am on this site for the fun of photography, learning more about photos, and seeing what others are doing. I can go to a political site if I want to talk politics. This site is not the place for political discussions.

I bet that he doesn't make minimum wage! My guess would be a significant amount above minimum. And he is earning every penny! He doesn't have to worry about me trying to get his job.

Hi Bill,

It is. Again, one of the first things I checked. And re-checked just in case! ; )
Thanks

The AF/M switch was the first thing that I checked. On both lens and camera. Then checked 3 other lenses. Then the battery out of the camera trick for 30 minutes. I must have some how triggered a change in the programing. I hate to think it may have to go to Nikon for repair, especially since Nikon is shutting down third party repair facilities.

Thanks to all for your ideas and suggestions. I will be working n this today since I have more time than yesterday.

Haven't had much time to try the suggestions, but I'm getting acquainted with the manual, and the program system. But, still no AF. Will have more time tomorrow to work on it longer. Thanks to all for your suggestions.

Hello All,

A few days ago the AF on my Nikon 7200 refused to work. It had worked fine the day before, but was no longer working. I tried turning it on and off, but no help. The only thing in the manual is how to turn it on and switch between AF and Manual focus.

It is possible, but highly unlikely, that I turned the focus ring while the camera was in AF mode. Does anyone have any ideas? Or is it time for a Nikon repair?

Thank you,
Daniel

Why get rid of your D850, to buy their, (overpriced) used D-850 with 20x more usage on it?? It sounds like they are trying to take money out of your pocket for no good reason. If this is the way they do business, go to B&H and never look behind you.

Also the USS Silversides, in Muskegon, MI. After the war, the US offered a "surplus" sub to each of the 48 states and 4 territories, in memory of the 52 boats that were sunk. The catch was that the boats had to be maintained. St Pete, FL, had a Russian sub a few years back, but I don't know if they still have it. A 1960s sub, it is primitive compared to our WW-2 boats.

Don't do it! Lens technology has advanced so much in the past 35 years, that yesterday's best lens is only comparable to today's entry lever lenses. If prices are a concern, buy used from KEH, B&H, or Atotrama, and get lenses only a few years old.

I have a PO Box, and I have things sent to my box. Packages that don't fit in my box (98% of them) are placed in a larger box, and the key to that larger box is put into my mail box. My item sits safely in the PO until I can get it.

The percentage of vets is generally accepted at 6% of the population. That number will drop as the huge number of Viet Nam era vets die off. The 1% is probably correct for combat vets. A very small number to ensure the safety of the rest. Thank you to those that served, and thank God that we have men and women that are willing to serve.

My only experience is a Watson for my Canon Power Shot, pocket camera. I've had no problems with it for 3 years now, but have noticed that when not in use, it doesn't last as long as the Canon battery.

Great shots! Some times, it seems like nature is there just for photographers!
