Having owned OMD EM10MkII I found the D610 stayed home time after time. The Oly was a joy to shoot with, the prime lenses super sharp, small etc. For vacation, if you can swing it, get the Oly 12-100
f4 and a 17mm 1.8 prime for low light; at least 2 extra batteries.
Above kit is small easily carried and you are not switching lenses nearly as often. Have fun shooting. laf
The 0MDEM-10 MkII is one of the most like bodies. Most shooter prefer it over the MkIII. Other positives are its size,cost and IQ. The only negative is that it is not weather proof. I have used my EM 10-ii and Pen F in showers and light rain. I just purchased a nearly new OMD EM-1 for weather proofing and use on 4/3 lens.

As a student at WWSC I worked wknds running ski lifts at Baker.
We spent Sat night in old lodge [before fire] and got up early with the Ranger; fired up chairlift; rode to top and helped him shoot the roman wall [155mm I think] and then we had first run in famous" Mt Baker

As said above charge your spare battery and learn how to use reset.
I have had my F for a year and still have to stop and think; it is easy to push wrong button and get really lost.
One tip I have found helpful : as you set the my sets write each on one
sticky note pad and stick it behind mirror. I would be lost w/o this.
The smallest carry kit for me is a P 12-32 and P 35-100; about $100 each used. I buy my camera bags off E-bay and most of my lenses. Do Not
Give Up; it is only a machine ! You have a supper camera. Have Fun
Ed I sold my D610 and FF lenses to purchase an Olympus Pen F. I could not be happier. I now have 3 f1.8 primes and 4 teles and cover a range from 18mm to 600mm. All of the above is about 10+ lbs however I usually travel with 2 teles and 1 prime. I have printed 16X20 and am happy with results. To be honest the Pen F lifted my interest in shooting more and due to its size and IBIS is jut a joy to use. Larry
After long consideration and reading I settled on RX100iii. Great senson,
lens and size with EVF. This things goes everywhere with me and I get
results that remind me of my D7000.. used on Ebay around $350.
