Help from Olympus Pen F users

I have a Pen F which I like, particularly with its small size and portability with 14-40 pancake lens, macro, 25 25 mm 1.8. I also have a Nikon D500 with some very nice glass.
My question has to do with finding a good instruction manual. Something that goes beyond my Pen F Menu System Simplified by Thorp.
Is there a manual/book for similar cameras such as the Olympus E MII or the Om D10 II? I have Rob Treck's online videos. I would like a book with good details and a good index that would come close to the functions of the Pen F. I also have the Olympus Digital Pen-F Instruction Manual in a 8x11 1/2 format. It mostly just goes through the menu options. (Yes, the menu system goes beyond logic as compared to other systems menus.)
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Get yourself several spare batteries
and start pushing buttons. No joke,
and you WILL need extra batteries
to see you thru your experiments.

As stated above, you’re a bit on your own as it’s not a big seller like many Nikons, Canons, etc. I also have a PEN and found very little in the way of books on it. I have used the owners manual to get a grasp & then followed up with my own experiments. Keep at it. It’s a wonderful camera but, yes, it can be daunting. You won’t be sorry if you keep at it.

I have found only one book”The Olympus Pen F Menu System Simplified” by David Thorpe. It’s useful, but by no means as comprehensive as the books published for the other Olympus mirrorless cameras.

John Greengo has a tutorial video series on the Pen F which focuses on the menu system, and is also very useful. Go to www.johngreengo.com and you’ll find his tutorials. His Pen F Fast Start class costs $19.00.

I believe you will really appreciate your Pen F once you set it up the best way for you. If you go to Google and search for "olympus pen f tips" you will find a lot of resources. Some will be helpful and some may not fit your way of photography, but it is a good place to begin learning what can be done and what will work for you.

As said above charge your spare battery and learn how to use reset.
I have had my F for a year and still have to stop and think; it is easy to push wrong button and get really lost.
One tip I have found helpful : as you set the my sets write each on one
sticky note pad and stick it behind mirror. I would be lost w/o this.
The smallest carry kit for me is a P 12-32 and P 35-100; about $100 each used. I buy my camera bags off E-bay and most of my lenses. Do Not
Give Up; it is only a machine ! You have a supper camera. Have Fun

I like the Pen F best among Olympus offerings. I don't think you need the extra manual though. How do these people know more than you? Do they have special connection with Olympus and know some secret that you don't? I think all the information should be in the manual that came with your camera.
