Lens was tough to get clean but I kept at it, flushing with clear water. Eventually I had to get the front element off in order to clean the top portion. Again thankfully got all debris out and 10 years later the lens still works just fine.

Mini years ago while walking along a steep embankment the dirt gave way. I slid down the embankment and suddenly I realized my camera and I were now underwater. I took lens off and poured the muddy water out of lens and body. I then removed the battery. When home put it in a big plastic bag filled with white rice. Two weeks later new battery installed and thank God it worked.

I purchased ON1 No Noise at a discount as I am an owner of ON 1 Raw. I only shoot JPEG, so I was very disappointed that the program states it works best with RAW and that JPEG is Working as a BETA, but will be addressed later.

I have had a Manfrotto Carbon Fiber tripod which my wife purchased for me many years ago. On a recent photo day trip, I was not happy with the tripod for two reasons: had to keep bending over as the height was not adequate, and two, inaccurate placement of camera due to the ball head. I FINALLY decided to invest in a new tripod. After much research, I decided upon the Bucky by Three Legged Thing. Sure, it is heavier due to its magnesium alloys legs, but without extending the center column it is the perfect height. If need be, it can extend to over 70” with the center column raised. Was expensive, but well worth it!

What about the Tamron 45mm? APC would be 67.5mm. Has VR too!

With a crop sensor the 50 would be fine, but I agree with others than the 18-55 kit lens works great. I have done model shoots with it with great results. I also use a 16-80 (24-120on DX) and simply set it at the appropriate zoom setting.

I bought a refurbished 16-80mm and have been very pleased with it. (Refurbishment brings the lens to better than new) It remains on the camera almost all the time. If I need to use the 10-20, 70-300, 35, 18-55 or 18-300, they go onto my backup camera.

This seems to be a pattern with Topaz. I started with Luminar for the PC - a total nightmare. Then updated no next iteration - not much better. Stupidly I purchased Aurora 2018. Updates worked, then crashed. So, back to 2018.

I have the Nikon AFP 10-20mm. Love it. Had the Sigma 10-20 for a few years. Sold it.

I have had the D7500 for several years. I love it. Second card slot meant nothing to me, as I have been shooting digital since the first cameras came out and they all had one slot. The kit lenses had excellent reviews and shooting in the field proved the reviews to be accurate. I am using the Nikon 16-80 VR as the main lens, along with the 10-20VR, 55-85VR and 70-300VR. I shoot to produce fine art prints concentrating on landscapes, nature, architecture, autos and trains. I also do model shoots and always performs flawlessly! Costco usually has a great deal around the holidays for the package!

I used the D90 for many years to produce photos for the many art shows at which I exhibited. I enlarged to 11x14 and 13x19 prints with no degradation. 8x10 prints were always outstanding. This camera was such a workhorse that one time a rock out crop I was on cell and I was sliding down a hill into a river while the camera was around my neck. When I got home I soaked the camera and water until it ran clear by then pack the camera up in a bag of rice and kept changing that out every couple of days after about three weeks I popped a new battery in the D90 and it worked flawlessly for another seven years until I sold it to upgrade to my D7500.
