Is there likely to be a firmware update to improve the quality of the photos at low ISO or is that an issue that can't be solved? Have seen YouTube reviews comparing Canon 6D mk2 to Nikon D750 at 100 ISO and Nikon seems to have far less noise every time.

Have decided to upgrade from my 550D to the above. Wanted to go full frame 6D but budget wont stretch that far to include lenses.
General photography but mainly landscape and travel (nothing fast) so what would be my best options for around $1000 in New Zealand? Have been looking at 18-135 USM or 24-105 F4 L mk1but not sure about using latter on an APSC. Already own EFS 10-18 plus 50 1.8, 18-55 and 55-250 old kit lenses.
Going round in circles trying to get best bang for buck with maximum coverage, best quality and fastest lens. Worried about ending up with 'jack of all trades, master of none'. Pretty sure it is going to be new as our second hand market is minimal down here in NZ. What do you think would be the best way to go?
Youtube is a good source of info for most cameras.
I'm still no wiser as to what to do. It appears that having bought expensive lenses ,I then have to adjust them to focus correctly. No wonder us amateurs are seeking better photographs thinking that better cameras and lenses will solve the problem.

Suggestions please to get the best night time landscape photos with a Canon t2i (550d) camera with Efs 10-18mm f4.5 - 5.6 wide angle lens and also the 18 -55mm kit lens. Should I remove the circular polarising filters or not, to allow extra light ? Trying to travel light but suspect tripod will be essential. Have seen some spectacular light shows and illuminations I'd love to capture. Can't afford faster lens so will have to do the best with what I have. Thank you in advance.
After all it is an "L" of a lens !!!
Thinking now to purchase EF lenses to use on my T2i and then if I am happy with result I might invest in a 6d when the 6dMk2 comes out. Hopefully the T2i will give me the results I am hoping for with the better lenses. I do know a friend with the 6d body and EF lenses so hoping to do a comparison with his lenses on my body against his lenses on his body to compare.

I have the T2i body at present with the usual 18-55mm and 55-250mm EFS kit lenses. Reasonably happy with my results but looking to concentrate on Landscapes and getting the 6d with 24 -105mm f4 L lens. Opinions on whether this is overkill for what I need. Would I be better to get just the new 24-105 f4L lens and may be a wide angle lens to use with my existing T2i body? Not sure how much improvement in IQ I would see for getting the 6d body. Other option is to get non Canon lenses. Any helpful advice would be welcome before my GAS gets a hold of my wallet.
Seems to me that if cars were as user friendly/unfriendly as some of these pieces of software we would all be complaining far more. What books do you find the answers to this type of problem in? So many problems not enough easy solutions.
