I suspect the the government statistics are a better indicator of the health of the economy than the poor performance of one persons retirement account.
Then there are British motorcycles. I used to own a Norton 750 Commando. I loved that bike, but I never could get it to quit leaking oil. I was given a coffee cup with with a picture of a Norton on it. It had a hole drilled in the bottom, and an inscription that said "Of course it leaks. It's a Norton".
Can you define what you mean by "If you have a clean and well-structured folder system, it will be a breeze." I have been frustrated by every Abobe photo editing software I have tried (and paid for). I presently organize my pictures by creating a folder on my hard drive like this:
This beautifully described my childhood. I was born in 1941 and have somehow survived swimming in irrigation ditches, engaging in BB gun fights and riding in cars with no safety features. There were other activities I would just as soon not talk about. I now have three boys, now in their fifties, and I still think of them as "my kids"!
My Ariens Blower does tend clog up at times. I now spray it with a product by the name of "Fluid Film". It has made a big improvement. Traction problems on my steep driveway have been solved with chains. Now if we would just get some snow here in the eastern Sierra!
I guess back in 1938 they decided to save money on bridge design in Oregon. This is the Pengra Bridge that crosses Fall Creek near Lowell, OR. I used to drive through this bridge daily on my way to work
Stay with Canon. Canon and Nikon both make very good cameras. I have owned Nikon cameras since I bought my first SLR, A Nikkorex F, in 1962. Since you already have four lenses for for your Canon it just wouldn't make much sense to change to Nikon.
I have Lightroom, Elements, Photoshop and Capture NX 2, I always use the free Fastone Image Viewer for resizing. It is also my favorite image viewer. You can download it here: http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm
