Thank you Iwantitall and Hal81. This was my 1st time at the PPL Center. Was concerned because my seats were up high (section 202) but arena is small so you are close to action no matter where you sit.

Just out of curiosity, why would you go for the E-M5 MII over E-M1? (except for E-M5's lower price of course). I've got the E-M1 and don't see anything in the specs for 5 MII making it a more desirable body.

The E-M5 MII has a fully articulating LCD screen and also offers silent shutter mode (absolutely No sound when taking a photo). I love my E-M1 but wish it had these 2 features.
Additionally, the video is of a higher quality on the E-M5 MII . . . for those that care about video.

Shot through 2nd floor window at work. Lens pressed against glass to reduce any interior reflection.

Shoot at the fastest speed you can(without underexposing) as this will help offset any potential camera shake. Also, remember that the moon is reflecting sunlight and is very bright. Don't let the darkness of the night sky fool your cameras exposure setting.

Treated myself to a refurbished 75mm F1.8 micro 4/3rds lens. So far, loving the lens. Can't wait to use it for some human portrait shots.

If you're looking to take portraits outside, I'd recommend the 75mm 1.8

Fawlty 128--I appreciate your perspective on the images. Also, feel free to crop--I look forward to seeing it.

I tried a vertical crop as I found the poles on the right side of the image a bit distracting.
I must admit however that I really like Jim's (Abbey4049) crop and lighting adjustments, it makes the image work as a real cityscape. Excellent job Jim.

In images 2 & 3 the objects that are leading us into the subject (NYC skyline) are too overwhelming and become the subjects themselves. I would work with the 1st image and crop to remove some distractions to bring more attention to the subject.
With your permission, I will post the image showing my crop suggestion, let me know.

Some very good moon shots here. That 1st one has a very eerie feel to it like something out of one of those old Boris Karloff movies, Dracula, Frankenstein, etc.

Which crop is better?...or your suggestions.

I think I'd try a more drastic crop and play around with contrast, hue and saturation. See example below.
