As suggested, I'm posting in the "Photo Analysis" section three images made in August, 2012--Canon Power Shot A590 IS. I was trying to improve my composition skills, so shot from several different perspectives. These are three attempts. Will appreciate comments and suggestions. Thanks.

I assume we're looking at composition here. I think I'd like the 3rd one of the shot was elevated further above the curved rail. That not being possible, I'd probably go with #1 as it seems more balanced to me.

I like #2. Whatever they are leading into the tower.

They can all use some PP. Number 1 would have been my choice but with the folks on the bench I find that more distracting. Number 3 would be a go if I sold chain link fences. Number 2 blocks to much of the shore line. These are just me assumptions, and I am not a judge by any means. Just a reflection of my personal views.

In images 2 & 3 the objects that are leading us into the subject (NYC skyline) are too overwhelming and become the subjects themselves. I would work with the 1st image and crop to remove some distractions to bring more attention to the subject.
With your permission, I will post the image showing my crop suggestion, let me know.
