Mucho Thanks Cindy!

Was there any non-exposure interval set between the 15 second star-trail exposures ? I've heard of some photographers using a 1 or 2 second non-exposure interval to allow the camera to cool down. They then used some kind of photoshop action or add-in to remove the gap in the star trail image caused by the non-exposure.

You really nailed the exposure - better than many so-called "experts". I'm referring to the esthetic value of the color balance in your image - not the "correct" color balance from a technical astronomical viewpoint. Keep up the good work - I find your interpretation much preferable!!

Nice work Cindy - I really like the colors you got! What f stop was used? What does the "24m" refer to?
Thanks,

Select a camera with remote wireless operation capabilities and place it on a sturdy tripod. Use a cellphone, or better yet a tablet, for operating the camera. I have Parkinson's Disease and that is my standard outfit.

One has to match mouse OS sensitivity with any physical limitations you may have. I have PD and am 81 years old and find that a trackball type of mouse works the best for me. This has taken me several years to figure out.

I have one for my Nikon APS and routinely make 20x30 prints. It is very sharp. The DP reviews once rated it as the sharpest APC zoom - I believed it!

Dpullum you are correct! It's been my experience that there are more "pixel peepers" viewing gallery prints than family members looking at scrapbooks. Maybe it's related to the "price" of a print in a gallery? A lot of scrapbook prints are OK as long as you can recognize the person(s) in the image. I've seen cases where the more costly a gallery print is "the sharper it should be"! Thank God this is not the case all the time. There are too many cases of over-sharpened digital prints floating around.

I think the key question here is what is the end use of the image. If for family scrapbooks one can probably get by with the less costly optics (look at some old tin types for adequate detail). But for gallery presentation, only the best will do.

Go to your account at Adobe and add another credit card. I think it something under a heading like "account" or "payable". I just did that and it was relative painless - did it on the first try which is unusual for me!

I'm glad it worked. I had mine done in September. Besides correcting vision the new eyes now see in technicolor rather than faded sepia. Like my regular eye drops (Blink brand) bottle was green before surgery and now is blue post surgery. I'm not quite sure how to re-calibrate the new eyes for PS and Lightroom workups on images! Gives me something to do while staying at home with this Covid 19 stuff.

I have tried most every way I could think of. I ended up using a 3 wheeled baby jogger that you push. The thing has a nice place for your camera bag where the baby used to sit. The tripod just sits along side the bag or can be attached to the frame with velcro straps. I could haul around 50+ pounds of gear and go off trail if the jogger had bigger wheels, like 14 - 20 inch. I used mine on foot trails in the back country as well a national parks. It takes much less exertion to push this thing than to carry all the stuff on your back! Additionally you have a nice platform to hold all your gear when you stop to take a photograph - really useful in wet weather, much better than the ground. Some models are collapsible for transport in a car trunk etc.

Be carefull of this - it's also called Sacred Datura and is quite poisonous and hallucinogenic! The plant only blooms at night with auwsome whita trumpet shaped flowes. Don't eat the leaves or get the sap on your bare skin.

I have been trying to but ink for my Epson Stylus Pro 3880 printer. The old reliable sites (Amazon, B&H, etc.) only had a couple of colors. The Epson Store had all the colors at $79.95 per each - I used to pay around $50-$60. The best site was ITSupplies.com which had them all at a discouned price of $68. Is the 3880 printer being discontinued and not supported? I used to be able to get genuine Epson ink for the 3880 everyehere!
