IS or not to IS, that is the question.....

Thank you all for your opinions and insight. After careful consideration and pulling some extra $$ out of my A**, I have taken the advice of the majority and purchased the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM. I know it is worth the extra $$ to have the best in my bag. Again, thank you all for your input! Al S.

canon 70D vs nikon D7100

I love my 70D. The touch screen is a very nice feature as well as the fast 7fps. I do wish it had dual card slots but that is my only complaint! Over all a great camera...

IS or not to IS, that is the question.....

Hello all, I'm looking for input into a couple of lenses. I am looking at the "L" series Canon 70-200's. The F2.8 with Image Stab is out of my price range $2600), however I can afford the 2.8 without IS or the F4 with IS ($1600). Hence, my question....

Do I give up on the higher stop for the IS or give up the IS for the extra light? All input is appreciated.

People understand why the copyright is across the picture. If they want a print, they can buy one. Or if it is someone I trust with it, I will send them a copy in a private email. Also, I make sure all of my info and © is attached in the EXIF info.
