B&H used price is $1,299, I am asking $775 plus shipping.
Comes in original box with ET-83 Lens Hood, 77mm lens cap and Canon rear cap.
This lens has been used professionally and been taken care of well. Some wear from transportation and use shows on the tripod ring. The lens was taken to Canon Professional Services and given a full overhaul and it has only been used twice since then. It is clean, glass is perfect and all moving elements are tight. It has taken photos that have appeared in Time, People, Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide, NY Times, LA Times and many other publications. I now have 3 of these lenses and finally decided to let this one go.
This lens is exceptionally sharp, very bright at f2.8, a must own lens for a Canon shooter.

Man I need that lens. Good deals all ways come at inopportune times. I just rented one a few months ago for the Texas High School Football playoffs. Good luck in your sale. The lens is at a fair price compared to everything else I have looked at.

I've been drooling over the idea of having this lens myself. Sadly, my current financial status won't permit it. I've been remarkably proud of the photos I've taken with it's little brother -- the 70-200 4.0L unstablized original version.
