I can speak for the 750 however I can for the D4. I shoot action where we print on site so people can bring home their prints. We print 16x20's all day long and they look great and we shoot on normal Jpeg's because we shoot so much. Ex: Figure Skating...I may start shooting at 8am and have the last skaters go on at 7 pm or later. I'm very happy with my D4 even though I've used the D4s but I don't shoot video so no upgrade for me right now. Good Luck and yes KEH is excellent.

They usually have sales for Father's Day and sometimes Mother's Day also. IF you can wait a bit it might work out. Good Luck and welcome to The Hog.

I've been with NPS ( Nikon Professional Services ) for 41 years and worked closely with the sales reps. Sometimes the reps samples never leave the box especially when the stores have the item in stock. Once they send them after the new models come out they go to refurb. It's a Nikon must. Chances are you can get never used camera or lens. It's happened so I would have no problem buying a refurb especially direct from Nikon. Good Luck !!!

I use it on my 70-200 VR 11 and it works great. I have even shot hockey thru the plexi with it on the 70 to 2 using my D4 and some photos ended up in publications. Awesome converter.

Late '60's black body Nikon FTN started me working for a newspaper then into the F2's and F2s's. Great way to learn and now into digitals and love my D4.

Try Pitman Photo in Miami. They ship free over $100 buy. It's been a while however that's what they were doing and had a great inventory of Nikon products. Worth a shot !!!

I can't speak for all but I know some are salesman's demos and some have never been used however they have to go thru them and sell them as refurbs. Once in awhile if they are not too used NPS will give some over to be refurbished.

I've been shooting since the late 60's and all I can say is the Nikon 24-70 2.8 nano lens is one of the very best I've ever used. I can't compare however I talk from experience with the Nikon.

I use the TC 1.7 on the latest 70-200 2.8 lens and even shot hockey with the converter on with a D4 camera and it worked out great.

If you are lucky enough to be near the speakers listen for the announcer to let you know where the planes will be coming from. That always helped me and I was always on the press tower. " From your left, right, behind, slow speed and high speed pass " etc. Have fun and get ready for the mirror shot and be sure to shoot on "C" so you can get them as one.
