I think it was her that discovered rural Arkansas portrait photographer Micheal Disfarmer.
May she R.I.P.
Thank You, Richard, for dropping the name of Michael (Mike) Disfarmer. A very interesting photographer.
A documentary on his life "Mike Disfarmer: A Portrait of America" is available on Vimeo, as well as a website on him and his life and work - disfarmer.org
Very nice photo. That's what I'm shooting for. Got a long way to go.
More visitors to the feeder this year than ever before. Too bad I haven't had the time to capture many photos. Got this one today. I think I'm getting about 1 keeper out of every 100 shots. It's been pretty warm of late here in the western corner of South Cackalackee.

PS - Nice picture, Jon.
Just to clarify, Mike, are you looking for a 50mm lens, or a 35mm lens, which, considering the crop factor of 1.5 with the d7000 DX camera, result in 52mm, or approximately a "nifty fifty"?
Zombie post...12 years old. The dead still walk among us.
A few portraits of attendees to the 2023 SC Comicon. Cosplay makes this, and similar events, a great opportunity to capture images of people who want to pose for a picture.
All these were taken with an X100F.

Does anyone have a lead where I can have a Mamiya Sekor 1000DTL cleaned and repaired?
The shutter does not actuate, the meter does work, and it seriously needs a deep cleaning.
This was my first camera from 1968.
Any chance it came from a PX in a certain SE Asian country where lots of Americans were visiting in 1968? That's how and when and where I got my 1000DTL.
$100 in 1958 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $1,035.19 today, an increase of $935.19 over 65 years. The dollar had an average inflation rate of 3.66% per year between 1958 and today, producing a cumulative price increase of 935.19%. (Feb 14, 2022)
Nice images, John. #3 is my favorite.
Hey lhammer43, I could be wrong, but it seems like this challenge got posted in the wrong topic.

Nice and sharp. That is a cute little bugger! What is a Pluto Trigger? I have 5200 with same lens, haven't used it much but takes nice images.
I'll leave it to the developer to tell you what it is and what it can do.....

Finally got to setup and use the Pluto Trigger. Nikon D5100, 18-55 kit lens. Very pleased with it in terms of setting it up and using it. More uncomplicated than I anticipated.
