Best advice is to keep way, way far away from any skunk. They are known RABIES carriers - and that is a deadly diisease, for which there is no cure.

Somehow I have acquired a Tamron macro lens (it has been stashed away for several years) and I don't know how to use it. It is a Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro 1:1. Ultrasonic Silent Drive. On the bottom (camera) end there are several notations: Full, .5m to infinity, .3m to .5m; beneath that is AF/ MF; beneath that is SP On/Off; then VC. I would appreciate anyone familiar with this monster please reply to my query and help me learn how to use it. Also, when I take a shot that looks to properly fill the viewfinder, but when I view it in the rear screen (Nikon D500), it is grossly enlarged and out of focus. Have I made some unusual setting and don't know how to get back to normal? If you are curious, I am 85 years old and have been out of active photography for 15-20 years. I just recently purchased my D500 and am trying to scale the steep learning curve.
Thanks for any assistance offered.

Ah, Turnagain Arm. Reminds me of my year on Fire Island (1963-64), U.S. Air Force. Thanks for the views.

Great find. Now, if they would just knock that much off the D500, I would be more than satisfied.

We see quite a few of these caracaras here in South Texas. We also call them Mexican Eagles.

They're the same color I remember from my grandmother's house in South Texas, 75 years ago. There were also other colors, some white. And yes, they are called 4 o'clocks.

I like the one that says: "Players with short bats should stand close to the plate."

If you have not resolved your issue for the Mamiya M645, I have two that I am not using. Both are in good condition, except the pentaprisms suffer from mirror separation. That does not alter the image, it just looks bad when viewing your image. I also have two extra lenses to go with them. PM me if interested and we can discuss pricing, shipping etc.

Welcome. We have a saying here in Texas - The difference between a Yankee and a Damn Yankee is that a Yankee comes to visit, then goes back home. A Damn Yankee comes and stays,.

I have owned several Mamiya cameras in the past - RB67, Mamiya Press camera, and 2-Mamiya 645s which I used for wedding photography. I still have both M645s, but can't sell them because of mirror separation. I think they are some of the best cameras I have ever owned and would like to have my RB67 back.

I just upgraded to Win 10 from Win 7 on my laptop and it cost just over $80. I don't know if my computer tech got it for free and just charged me for a service call or what. Also, got a new hard drive for only $30something. I'm ready for anything
now.
