i only used the "in GOD we trust as an example" . as to our country was hardly founded with a deep reverance for GOD, i think the pilgrims would disagree with you.

"In God we Trust" was adopted as the official motto of the United States in 1956. It has appeared on paper currency only since 1957. So our country was hardly "founded" with a deep reverence for god - it has only been in recent times that we've reverted to bible-thumping.

We have hardly eliminated the mention of your make-believe hero anywhere - Congress begins with a prayer (which should tell you right there that it doesn't work) but schools specifically are forbidden from encouraging or discouraging prayer because that is a fairly clear violation of the constitution. I'm an atheist, and it's all I can do to get thru the day without hearing about your kind of make-believe kiddie-like fantasies.

And I know you like that make-believe, and you think this "god" person (Mitt Romney's religion believes that "god" is a person, a human, who became a "god", but that's for another day) is an invisible man in the sky who helps you when he feels like it, but some of us with reason and logic don't like to be subjected to childish myths. Glad they work for you, but I'm fine without it, thank you very much.

You also might ask to have the landscape-oriented picture cropped in portrait mode. It will be enlarged and retain the full head.

i didn't realize that they had that option. it was mpix that did it. i just thought that since i didn't leave much space above the head that it was automatically lost in enlarging. thank you.

The solution is quite simple.
Get it printed somewhere that they will not crop any off the photo. Any simple printer can do it these days. Mine does and its only a cheap Canon bubblejet.

I would also suggest taking yours back and getting them reprinted properly for free.

i've got enough intelligence already. i just don't allow myself to get baited into convesations that have no constructive outcome. it seems there's no shortage of people who seek entertainment at another's expense on here. i made a simple statement with no intention of getting involved with any kind of argument enough said. be well

because that's what they teach in sunday school & that's what the bible says . it's obvious that you're trying to bait me & i won't be led into your little argument where you try to impress all the other readers with your skills at making your point. you believe your way, i'll believe my way & please stop the childish baiting as it won't work for this is my last reply to you. have a nice day.

i think that i wouldn't want to be the one who said"God is irrelavent" when ,after dying, i discovered that i'd made a gross misjudgement about God's existance.

You are a Weak Atheist. Weak atheism is the rejection of belief in gods, but not an explicit rejection that any gods might exist. This differs from Strong Atheism which explicitly claims no gods can exist.

The two strains of atheism are also known as Positive (Strong) and Negative (Weak) Atheism. The distinction is subtle but thought to be meaningful in atheistic circles.

Me? I don't care whether god exists or not. There are no experiments you can perform that support either position. God is irrelevant.

The local sheriff was looking for a deputy, so Frankie, who was not exactly the sharpest nail in the bucket, went in to try out for the job.
"Okay," the sheriff drawled, "Frankie, what is 1 and 1?"
"11" he replied.
The sheriff thought to himself, "That's not what I meant, but he's right. What two days of the week start with the letter 'T'?"
"Today and tomorrow."
The sheriff was again surprised that Frankie supplied a correct answer that he had never thought of himself.
"Now Frankie, listen carefully: Who killed Abraham Lincoln?"
Frankie looked a little surprised himself, then thought really hard for a minute and finally admitted, "I don't know."
"Well, why don't you go home and work on that one for a while?"
So, Frankie wandered over to the barbershop where his pals were waiting to hear the results of the interview. Frankie was exultant. "It went great! First day on the job and I'm already working on a murder case!"

9 Things To Hate About Everyone

1. People who point at their wrist while asking for the time... I know
where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch
when I ask where the toilet is?

2. People who are willing to get off their butt to search the entire
room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change
the channel manually.

3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too".
Damn right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it
is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do
this? Who and where are they?

5. When people say while watching a film "did you see that?". No Loser,
I paid $12 to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor.

6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?".... Didn't really give me
a choice there, did ya sunshine?

7. When something is 'new and improved!'. Which is it? If it's new, then
there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then
there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

8. When people say "life is short". What the hell?? Life is the longest
damn thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?

9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come
yet?". If the bus came would I be standing here?
