Two shots of the same scene one 1600 ISO the 3200 ISO. I like the darker one better.

I agree the darker one for me is the better of the two

Recently while in West Virginia I tracked down several old covered bridges in Monroe and Greenbrier Counties. May I present Laurel Creek Bridge, Indian Creek Bridge, Hokes Mill Bridge and Herns Mill Bridge.

I have really enjoyed seeing your selection of these covered bridges.
I don't know of any in the UK.

(They also remind me of the film Bridges of Madison County wit Merle Streep and ?) 🤔😀 but then I am a dreamer.

Shot with a Canon DSLR, Tamron lens with a CPF, ISO 1600, f22. I liked it, but looking for feedback on how it could have been improved

Well taken

Thanks. Not great, but not too shabby, especially for handheld and probably wrong metering mode.

Very good catch, super when d'loaded. I would crop carefully from the top but that is just me.

We went out to SOARS [Save Our American Raptors] This is the third time we have been there. They[George & Berrini] are great. They live for these birds. It's their whole life. The only fiance they get is from groups like us and shows. Each year they come up with new birds to photograph.

Fantastic shots

The plastic five pound note would remind me of "toy" money. It is smaller in size and an artificial feel to it.

I am Jeff from Virginia, I am a beginner at photography but really have enjoyed it for the short time I have been doing it. I want this to turn into a serious hobby for me, as I find it relaxing. I am hoping that I can get tips related to equipment, techniques and exposure here.

This is the place to be.......welcome

I have found this very interesting reading and has whetted my appetite to learn more .
I am also wondering are all these observations negative or positive for the people living close to the vault
