upload to a print site like shutterfly or snapfish (there are others too) and then they can print what they want from right there, all you sedn if the link.
if you have creative suit 3 does it have lightroom? if so, the slideshow optiona dn web gallarey are very easy to use and then you can upload to a server/web site.
I went to the store with the intention of a nickon or canon and ended up with a sony becuase it felt right in my hands.
I got the camera kit, with a tameron lens and glass lens protectors for both lenses for just under $1000.00.
if you set your aperture to a low number (wide open) and your ISO for the type of sky ( sunny, cloudy, shade etc..) there should be a dial to move your "needle to the center" ( that is your in camera light meter) that should get you to an accurate shutter speed. and if you look at the LCD and think it is too bright or too dark, adjust the needle (which adjusts your shutter speed) and then you shoot again. And if you decide to do all three of these needle in the center , one or two to the left and one or two to the right, (called bracketing) you can tru HDR later when you are ready. Just a thought. Good luck and lets see what you get.
you might want to brighten or pull back a bit on your saturation to get a more realistic look like you originally had, unless you like this way better. always remember, if you like it that is all that matters.
some contests take off points for fingerprints, so maybe print on matte paper vs glossy or semi gloss to avoid that potential issue.
aphelpsphoto, you have a great eye. In the second and third images where you only color an article of clothing would be brilliant for a clothing ad, especially for western wear. nice Job and keep it up.
The last edit was great, I agree with the blue to the bottom. since you are in lightroom, have you tried to go clack and white and play with the preset filters? I love it in color. this picture has soooo much texture I bet it would be awesome in black and white, like you said as a background image, the color with low opacity would be an amazing background for landscape images in slideshow. Great work and keep playing.
db, that turned out great...nice work.
mark, here is a real quick adjustment that allows you to see the details lost in the silhouette. Keep in mind, quick. I didn't want to do too much, just an example.
There is no need to set it up better, it is really good, even more so that it was unanticipated. It's great that you are making the decisions for the black and white. Just add a bit more shadow or black until the saddle is a bit more than a hint and the trailer will probably still not become to obvious, but the horse will darken up a bit as well and then the contrast will make her profile stand out better. Give is some play time and resend the changes. I am excited to see what you can do with this.
do you let the software decide your black and whites or do you make the adjustments? try making the decisions for your self and darken things a bit so the saddle doesn't blend in with the sky and then your contrast between horse and girl will be more pronounced. this is a great shot, just needs a bit of adjusting.
first image, try moving the saturation to the left just a bit, the colors are sooo vibrant it makes it hard to see what it is. the other two are great shots, but the third would be better if straightened (no hard to do). keep up the practice..
I agree, pretty shoreline, magnificent image with the whales...great job.
I think for the way the pictures are now, cat is right, play with cropping and impress yourself with your talent.
