Rte. 29 between Glenwood & Alexandria, MN
Pretty rare, there are over 200 there because the population was fenced in.
Had a pic years ago of a White Buck taken with a Canon PowerShot Pro 90IS (2.6 MP). I'll have to see if I can find it. Thanks all for your kind words!
Driving by the old Seneca Army Depot....

Very nice pics of the Glen! They look great to me but if you want to dial down noise try Lightroom, works really well! Went by today and I think half the residents of Ontario were there!

Very nice pic....well done! I love the colors of the sky and the foreboding fill it has.....May I suggest you edit out the two lights in the trees near the bottom......It seems that my eye is pulled to that spot....Just a suggestion...
Ditto, other than that, a fabulous sunset!

youre so lucky to be there for the fall colors. Thats one of the things I miss most about being back home. Living in Scottsdale the only color we see is brown LOL....
I was just talking to my parents earlier who live in Seneca Castle and my Dad was saying the leaves are starting to change there...needless to say but I got very jealous and wished I had never left NY after being there for the summer lol.
I am going to have to make a trip to Northern AZ in a few weeks to get a taste of Autumn and to see the colors :-)

Up to Flagstaff & Oak Creek Canyon? Love that area! used to drive up when I went to Arizona State. The red stone looked amazing when it was a little wet and had a dusting of snow.
Thanks, I like your Letchworth shots, its on my agenda next spring.
Yeah, they were slow most of the summer, snapped those pics around Memorial Day. Going to try to revisit them in a couple weeks when fall colors are at peak.
Don't forget Taughannock, Ithaca, & Buttermilk Falls too!
Just bought one for my Canon, looking forward to having fun with it!

Just a few pics from a recent trip to the Adirondacks.
Where in the Adirondacks? My family and I used to go every summer to Hunter, NY. Which is on the Green side of the mountains, over from the Sullivan side of the mountains.
Central to Northern region. Hunter, NY is actually in the Catskills, a separate but similar region, 180 miles south of the area I was in. Hunter Mtn. Is a terrific ski resort too, been there several times.
I would like to note to Canon 60D users that your camera has the ability to convert from RAW to JPEG built-in, so if you want to download immediately for someone else and you do not have your laptop/processing software handy, it is still possible. For users of programs such as Lightroom, shooting in both RAW + JPEG will just fill up your card quicker, Lightroom will generate a Thumbnail JPEG while downloading your images so you can immediately view it.
