Where in the Adirondacks? My family and I used to go every summer to Hunter, NY. Which is on the Green side of the mountains, over from the Sullivan side of the mountains.

Central to Northern region. Hunter, NY is actually in the Catskills, a separate but similar region, 180 miles south of the area I was in. Hunter Mtn. Is a terrific ski resort too, been there several times.

You are so right. Oh well. just having a senior moment...lol When we were there during the summer, noone ever thought of skiing in winter. Oh i do know that the ski resort on Hunter Mountain ,was once called "The Colonel's Chair."
