Thanks, The only big lens I have is totally manual so focus and exposure was an issue, but it was an interesting event to shoot.
A few shots from the polo matches Sunday from San Diego. First time trying to shot a polo match.
A couple from the semi finals to make the finals this Saturday
I didn't really happen, amazing
Just a nice shot during a playoff game for the school where I work.
Very nice, so hard to catch the batter in just the ride place hitting the ball. lots and lots of shots
We have a place in Del Mar where they have polo matches I need to go there and see if I can get some good shots. Anyone shot polo, any ideas on where to shot from? Here Are a couple from the Del Mar Race Track
Thanks, but that was a 60D I now have a Tamron 70 -200 2.8 but the camera is owned by the school where I work so I'm trying to get the money together to purchase a 60D, 7D or 5D I won't be at this school next year because of budget cuts. here is a link to some of my other shots http://www.varsitypix.com/schools/madison/?sport=5&
Here are a couple shots from the only high school game I was able to shoot last fall. All shot with a canon 60D ISO 6400 with a Canon 75-300 lens all I had then.

90mm 1/250 F5
135mm 1/250 F5
I try to get the long jump, but it seems every track I go to they are jumping with the sun behind the jumpers. I would try to get ahead of the start a little so you don't get blocked out by the runner in the first lane, also try to get a little above if you need to be on the starting line. Ask a runner where they have to have passed the baton to be a clean pass.
Canon 60D, Tamron 70-200mm 2.8, F4 1/1600
My first track shots of the year.
My wife likes to go down to OB and walk along the pier on nice days, nice sunny day but a bit cool because of the wind.
Nice shots, here are few shots I took today in Ocean Beach, San Diego, CA. I took them from the OB pier
First pitch on opening day 2012 San Diego vs. Los Angeles
