Yes, they sell equipment to make 3D scans. You can go to "Resources" and "Gallery" to see free virtual tours.

Yes, I agree with all of you!
But it did happen to Curmudgeon...
Laramie mentioned PCI and PCI-E slots. My main point was that you can screw it up just with memory slots.

If you have four memory slots and 2 memory modules there is specific sequence of filling up memory slots.
The sequence is specified by manufacturer and it depends on computer model.
So it is possible to install memory module in memory slots and have it failed or not detected...

I am not advocating for copying Canon software and lens design. Many third party lens suppliers do not have any communication with camera and rely on manual operation of the lens. So where intellectual property comes into play?

You can always try Mamiya RZ67. You just need different back to upgrade sensor...
AND you can shoot film and digital with the same camera.
