I have seen the American flag left outside and displayed in the rain. I questioned it, but it seems that there is no definitive answer regarding weather.
I think you are correct. It is a ''55. The front grill of the '56 was a bit different.

Thought I might look for a lumix d200 for a light weight carry camera with a good reach instead of always carrying one of my heavier Nikon DSLR’s all the time. Comments?
That is a bridge camera. I figure if I were to carry that size camera, I might as well take my regular mirrorless camera and lens. However, last summer I bought a Lumix ZS200, which is a point and shoot camera with a 1" sensor. I like Lumix cameras, which use Leica lenses. I took this camera on Rhine River cruise and got beautiful photos and video clips.

I am planning a May 2024 Viking river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest.
Would like to take close up photos of the castles along the Dandube and Rhine rivers. I plan to take either a 140m or a 200m zoom (not both) using a Nikon D7100. Which would be best to use? Thank you for your assistance.
I took a Rhine River cruise from Amsterdam to Basel in July. I had a zoom lens that went up to about 350m.

Anyone else experiencing this???
I just got on the website with no problems from Tampa at 3:25 PM Eastern time.
I like Lumix compact cameras. I had the ZS70, but recently upgraded to the ZS200 (which has a few more features and a longer telephoto range than the ZS100) for a trip to Europe. Panasonic Lumix uses Leica lenses, which produce fine picture quality. I also own a Fuji mirrorless camera with several lenses, which I tend to use for photo shoots. I prefer the compact camera when I am traveling - less equipment to carry.
Good choice - I bought the same camera this summer to used on a river cruise in Europe, rather drag my mirrorless camera with several lenses. I also had beautiful results.

Close, it's '59 Plymouth Fury.
Below is a '59 Imperial. Tough to tell sometimes with these 50's cars with their mammoth fins.
My uncle was in the car business - had a Chrysler dealership in the 1950's. He drove an Imperial, like the second picture. My aunt usually had a Plymouth convertible.

Looking to buy a new camera, can't decide between bridge or compact. Looking for a good zoom lens, not too complicated to use, not fussed about wifi or touchscreen just one that takes great shots. Budget is up to £800.
Already have a Canon 4000D DSLR and a Panasonic Lumix TZ70 that I have had for ages and loved the picture quality and zoom but is now starting to have problems so wanting one to upgrade from this that I don't have to faff about changing lenses but gives me all theup to date features of a great camera. Most of the time my DSLR is gathering dust as it's too bulky to carry everything around.

I bought a Lumix point and shoot ZS 200 ( TZ 200 in UK?) recently for a cruise down the Rhine last month. You might check it.
It is the Lumix ZS70 or the upgrade, ZS 80, which is a point and shoot camera. I owned one, but traded it in for a ZS200, another Lumix point and shoot, which only has a 360 mm telephoto range, but has a larger sensor (1") than the ZS70. I also have a Fuji mirrorless cameral with multiple lens, but wanted something compact to take on a cruise down the Rhine River in July.
My best friend's Mother had a 1958 Impala convertible. What a ride (and dual headlights, too)!
Wow! I never realized that GM almost resurrected the Lasalle, even in name. I looked at a 1944 Lasalle, when I was in college in the early 70's. I made the mistake of taking my Mother with me. If my Father had gone with me, I would have ended up buying the car!

Hi!
First post here!
I am visiting the Holy Land in July. I am thinking of getting a point and shoot. I presently have a Nikon Z7 for my landscape and inner church photography and D500 for my wildlife. But at 68, I’m thinking I would like to travel light and not worry about my gear.
Any suggestions on a point and shoot camera would be appreciated. I do shoot in raw and understand I need something that can handle low light situations. I am an enthusiast, but my images won’t need to be printed in large format. I am looking at the Coolpix p1000? But am open to other manufacturers. Used purchasing always works best for me.
I am so excited for the trip…heat and all!! Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

I too will be in Israel in July and then am taking a river cruise in Europe. At 72, I do not lug my Fuji mirrorless camera and lenses on long trips. I just bought a Panasonic Lumix ZS200 point and shoot camera. It is 20MP, has a 1in sensor and a 24mm-360mm range Leica lens. It also is light and small. I have had several Lumix cameras and been happy with the results.
I agree. Cameras, like cars, have become more complicated or so it seems. The manuals are long and not necessarily written clearly. I have a wonderful mirrorless camera, but probably will not use all the bells and whistles and also have limited the number of lens. Having said that, I recently purchased a point and shoot to take on a trip abroad because I don't want to carry lots of equipment with me. I have had several of them over the years (Panasonic Lumix with Leica lens) and the pictures usually are very impressive.
I am going on a cruise on the Rhine River next month. I just purchased a Panasonic Lumix ZS200 - 20.1 megapixels, 1 inch sensor, 24-360 mm zoom to take with me. I can put it in a small pouch that attaches to my belt. I have a Fuji mirrorless camera with several lens, which I use for specific photo shoots, but I don't want to drag a bunch of equipment sightseeing. I have owned numerous Panasonic point and shoot cameras, which produce good pictures when traveling.
