Olympus jpegs are better in EM10 and EM5 series than EM1 series IMO. With that said, the Oly EM10/EM5 color science is rich, highly saturated, and every bit as good as Fujifilm jpegs straight out of camera.

I switched from Nikon D750 to Olympus EM-M1 Mark II and Mark III, 2 years ago and don't miss it. Have an M5 Mark II when I want to pack light. Obviously you will lose some capability but not much in the way of picture quality. At least I haven't but your mileage may vary. I have the Oly 25 and 45 f1.2 Pro lenses, and all the f1.8's. Also, with the latest firmware updates the bird and animal algorithms were vastly improved. However, have the Sigma 16, 30, 56 f1.4 trio which I find to be sharper. As far as the sensor concerns go...Cartier Bresson and all the other great masters had far less capable sensors and produced masterpieces. Not saying that gear doesn't matter but they produced more with a lot less. I suggest renting a M4/3 camera and take it through it's paces and then make your decision.

Have both. I like the starry sky, live ND features and hand held high res mode of the Mark 3. However, the Mark II is still a very capable and feature packed camera. Sigma f1.4 trio is every bit as good as the Oly f1.2 Pro lineup without breaking the bank.

Have M1-M2 and M3. Absolutely love them. Feature packed cameras and quite capable. Oly image stabilization is as good as it gets. Sigma f1.4s (16, 30, 56) are as sharp if not sharper than Oly Pro lineup. Hope they can get at least 24-26 mp sensors in the new cameras and weather sealing in the f1.8 lenses.

He was dubbed "The Sound" because of his big, mellow, and round tone. Great stuff markngolf.

No one played like Django. Very aggressive style. Only comparable guitarist was Wes Montgomery. He played similar riffs but still had a very different style and sound. Wes was my favorite.

I've found with Olympus that OEM batteries just won't charge in some non OEM chargers and vice versa.

I own both and the only features I use on the M3 are hand held high resolution mode and live ND, otherwise the M2 still suits my needs.

Making great cameras and running a camera company successfully are two very different animals. IMO their lenses are among the best across any system. Conversely, their marketing is horrible. However, Olympus still maintains the #1 market share in Japan. I think that's impressive in the land of camera companies. Unfortunately, Japanese companies are very reluctant to change. In fact, they would rather fall on their swords than accept defeat or change methodologies. Going forward, they must adapt quicker to the market and produce cameras accordingly. Not to mention the fact that smart phones have taken the the lions share of the profits of all camera companies.
