Thanks for the compliment. Actually the computer is located facing and abutting a wall. I didn't want to move her as she was unaware of my camera. She was so engrossed in what she was doing she never noticed I was there.

I know I am dreaming here but try this idea; Do not buy such a vehicle without first having a roll bar built onto the frame that would protect the operator in case of a roll over. Most riders/operators are hurt by having the vehicle roll over on top of them.
I do NOT ride on or operate such vehicles that you show here.

So you would be restricted from riding under tree branches so what? That would be a good thing. Stay safe and good luck.

You are right. A seat belt and shoulder straps wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Thanks DB, I actually preferred the B&W myself. Her Daddy, (our son) was 38 when she was born. Our older son who is 49 and was just married last year is expecting their first sometime today. We are just waiting for the phone call. Wish we could be there but it is a long way from here.

I took a couple of shots of our 6 year old granddaughter last night practicing her spelling on my computer. I have a Little Panasonic FH20 that was handy so I gave it a go. It has a setting for grainy black and white so I tried that along with color. This little girl was born into our family as my wife and I were just retiring and she has made our retirement a true joy. Such a wonderful blessing from God.

As long as there are some of the nicest folks I have seen on the Internet on here it is certainly worth staying. You are always going to find some folks that take out their frustrations in life on folks especially when they can do it anonymously. I pity them but I am not going to let them take the joy away from me that I get from this site. You can't imagine how refreshing it is to find a site where most people are very helpful and very civil.

My dad always used to say, "The only thing good about the good old days is that they are gone." I can't help but agree. My wife lost a brother to polio in 1946. He was 11 years old.
10 years later he would have had the vaccine and maybe a good long life.

That is a very different affect. To tell the truth it makes me a little dizzy looking at them and I am stone cold sober. How did you do it?

I took this three years ago when we took the granddaughters for a train ride. It was raining and if you look closely you can see the drops midair just above the tender. T A&A is a shortline R.R. about 40 miles south of our home. The locomotive had been uncoupled at Curriers, N.Y. It then switches on to a siding and backs up until it clears the train and then switches back on to the main line. It couples back up to the train and pulls it in reverse back to Arcade, N.Y.
