These are really nice. Of the first set, I like the 6th one best (with the moon actually showing behind the tree). Of the additional ones, I like the second one with the tree slightly off center best.

I think of the second set I like both #2 and #3 equally well. In the fist set I have to agree with you choice with #6

Excellent, these are the type of moon photos that I like to take. What was the distance to the trees?

What you are saying may be true, but I don't think it would convince Nikon or Canon to honor a grey market camera for warranty purposes. Besides, if costco were to take a camera back all they would do is to see if they can get it to work, then repackage it and sell it to the next buyer. My Daughter will not listen to me about computers even though I have built mine and my Sons computers for over 20 years now. She wanted a new laptop (She breaks them about every year, or a dog running thru the house will get tangled in a power cord and launch the laptop across the room). She doesn't care because she gets whatever she wants from her husband. Anyway, she went to Best Buy to get a laptop. You know the place that has the Tech Wonders known as the Geek Squad. A salesman talked her into a refurbished MSI laptop that had just been put back on the shelf from being completely checked over and passed all tests. She stopped by to show it to me and when she pulled it out of the box I looked at it and noticed that it did not match the box that it was in. I asked her what she paid for it and she said $640.00. I said well, I guess you lucked out this time, because this is not the computer that is supposed to be in this box. I looked it up on Best Buys web site and say that it was listed for $1600.00. She was thrilled until she got home with it and hooked it up. Many, many problems. She got ahold of MSI Tech Support and they remotely got into her laptop to try to figure out what was wrong. They finally told her that it had a bad motherboard and to return it to Best Buy for a refund or exchange. So much for a great deal! Most people at places like Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Cost-Co know very little about the electronic items they are telling you are the greatest. They are just there to pay the bills at home.
What you are saying may be true, but I don't think... (show quote)

I thought that is why the majority of people go to work. Even some of the sales people in camera stores don't know what they are talking about - that should come as no great surprise to anyone. after all They are just there to pay the bills at home.

Is this a grey market camera? Seems like a really good price.

For $500 or so Costco has a nice dslr. Canon with 3 lenses. You don't have to be a member

Excellent Camera, Actually pretty small and very light weight at under 1 pound. It came out in 2017 has 24mp using the Digic7 processor.

I see some have said go with the T6, I have to disagree, not only is it older, has 18MP and uses a much much older Digic4 processor, not to mention it is heavier. If anything I would opt a t6i should I choose to go with the T6 line.
Here are a few images taken with the Canon SL2

I have heard of a social experiment where they have a woman taking pictures with a camera at a public pool and no one bothers her. Then they put a man doing the same thing and within a minute someone challenges him. Men are profiled like people who are black. Men are considered serial killers and Sex offenders until proven otherwise.

Maybe just maybe it is that most sex offenders and serial killers have been men. just saying

First, I never aim my phone camera toward strangers, especially to take their image, I believe it is an invasion of their privacy. If I have my DSLR camera with me I always ASK PERMISSION to take a candid photo. I have never been turned down and I have actually made some friends that way.

Just what privacy do you really expect to have in a public setting?

Yes, it is multifunctional. The cell phone users are not as boorish, egotistical or arrogant as the pompous DSLR crowd. Well some of them.

you sure seem to be.

A lot more venues like rodeos and circuses won't allow cameras. They want you to buy the photo.

and you can be sure that they are not selling you their photos that had been taken with a cell phone either

Anyone who does not honor our men and women that served or are serving our nation in defense of our values, and those who publicly hate our country in spite of what they have and enjoy today, should get out of here NOW!

Isn't that what is great about our country, it gives them just as much right to disagree? I haven't seen anyone that post anything about not honoring the men and women of our armed forces and the sacrifices they make. Perhaps it is those who tell others how they should feel or get out, should be the ones to pack their bags first.

It is OK to disagree with people, but to tell them because you don't think what they believe or think is right, that they should leave is wrong!

I served this country during a even more unpopular war, did you serve?
