I don't know what the item is, but if it isn't "Prime," it's coming from a different seller. I often reject products that have a high shipping cost, looking for Prime delivery instead. Many items are "Prime Free One-Day." I can't remember the last time I paid a shipping charge on Amazon.

i'm with you on that one.....

I'm looking at a new printer, Epson 8550, on backordered,, but looking at the size I mIght have to move it to a different. I see it's wireless too and my question is does a direct wire connection work better or NO difference then hooking it up wireless?
I'm looking for best quality in 11x14 prints.
I might go to the epson 8500 and forget doing larger prints.
I looked at Canon but I need to copy and scan too.love the principle of the ink tanks

been using wireless for quite awhile and haven't had a problem...one laser and one inkjet....

I called and the machine gave me the option of leaving my number so they could call back. Very handy as I could go about my day. Get a call back in 15 minutes or so.

That's my usual approach except the wait for someone at Delta Airlines a couple of days ago was just over a hour, and tech support for another company was about the same.

It is certainly convenient to be able to forget about it entirely until a person becomes available. Great auto call screening too.

It's a poor reason to replace a phone, but something to consider if it's going to happen anyway. And the new Pixel 6a has just been announced at $450, which these days is a pretty good deal.

Remember when you were a kid and you cut yourself? Your mother would put mercurochrome on the wound so it wouldn't sting, like iodine. Watching TV last night, I learned why we no longer use mercurochrome. It contained mercury. We were putting mercury into open wound!

I record most of the programs I watch. No extra equipment, a nominal extra cost. I can record one show or all of the ongoing series. With so many hour shows, there are about 20+ minutes of commercials. Fast forwarding is a blessing.

we do the same thing....except now some of the programs will not let you fast forward...they are getting wise....

While we're at it, why is gasoline always priced with 9/10 cents at the end? Like, $5.99 9/10?
Or why are so many items $x.99 or $x.95?
We all know the answer is to make us "think" (without thinking) that the price is less. So the $9.99 item is "thought" of as $9, not as $10. And a gallon of gasoline isn't thought of as what it really is -- $6.00 per gallon, but as $5 per gallon.
Marketers use odd shaped packaging to make it look like we are getting more. For instance, a cone with maximum diameter of 3 inches contains one-third the volume of a cylinder the same height and diameter, and almost nothing is sold in cubes, because those "look" smaller.
The only time I've seen gasoline priced without the 9/10 at the end was during price controls after the Vietnam war when the Federal Reserve Bank didn't control the growth of the US money supply.
