I often go on a site www.shorpy.com to be inspired by color Кодахрома. The site is widely known for the archival photos so hardly it will be for you opening. But here it wanted to me to make to itself a selection of the selected works that near at hand was on one page and in high quality. Can be to you too will interestingly. All pictures are made in 1940-1943 of the Signature to translate did not become, because badly I am able and I am afraid to muddle. But as a whole all so is clear. We look, we absorb
Thanks! Perhaps there's a new Nikon D800 behind the door!
The location is Rockport, MA. This is one of the most painted and photographed locales in the area. Have been there many times.
Unless done professionally ($$$), this would be a possible catastrophe for the workings of the camera. I remember street shooters in the 1950's and 60's who would try to camouflage (to become more inconspicuous) their silver Leicas with cut strips of black gaffer's tape used widely in professional photography. Unlike black electrical tape or black duct tape, the gaffer tape could eventually be removed without leaving the gummy residue of the other types.
Welcome aboard, ClutchDisk. In the late 60's and early 70's I owned Minolta SRT101, 201 and XE7 cameras and Rokkor lenses until I changed to Nikons. I really loved those cameras. I am temporarily living in NC also, but I am a lifelong New Englander.
Enjoy your D300.

This may be a trip down memory lane for some: my interest in photography began at age 12 (just turned 69 this week). Along the way I have been a subscriber to several photo mags, some now defunct: Camera 35, Modern Photography (which I thought was a stronger competitor to Pop Photo), Popular Photgraphy, Petersen's Photographic (when it was a monthly, it was outstanding in its photo instruction articles, it is now a themed publication issued on quarterly basis and not as good), Shutterbug (I remember it in the 70's when it as printed on newsprint paper, Outdoor Photography, and few others published infrequently.
I still subscribe to Shutterbug and Pop Photo, and Outdoor Photgraphy because of their respective article orientation.
And yes, I agree that they have become slimmer in the editorial content, while heavy in the advertising content, but, alas, that is typical of current economic conditions.
Gone are the days when they were nearly twice the number of pages with much more editorial content.
Excellent shot. The people help make the picture.
Love Boattail Speedsters. Taken at the Newport County Veterans Classic Auto Show at Portsmouth (RI) Abbey a few years ago.
Rare occasion to see two at one show.
