I joined this site not to long ago as a total rookie just moving from Point and Shoot to a Canon Rebel DSLR and have gained a wealth of knowledge reading and asking questions. The majority of members will gladly help you with any questions you might have. I agree with the others....read the manual..read the manual.....read the manual..learn one thing at a time........get a book or DVD dedicated to your camera.

Place your Watermark on the photos and then you'll have no worries down the road. If he was to use them later he will have to ask you to have the watermark removed.

Not so fast. Are you guys hired as photographers? Or is the hospital hoping to get your combined expertise as photographers, into one group so that they can tap into that and get free photo coverage for what they always had to pay to have done?
Never mind that they bought you a cheap, though good, little camera. Have a think about this and discuss with your other four shooters. If you guys were hired to do other work and now doing that AND having to do hospital photography, then you are doing two jobs and not being paid for that second work as photographers.
Not so fast. Are you guys hired as photographers?... (show quote)

Come on......Why would you try to burst the bubble of someone excited! Perhaps you don't realize it, but many are rewarded by their accomplishments and excitement and money is not their main reason for performance. Not all feel that "The Man" is taking advantage of them.

Depending on what operating system you have on your computer it is simple to resize. On most newer Windows systems, you can go to the photo file.....right click on it and a drop down menu appears. Click on resize and it gives you several options for size and also an option to resize the original or make a copy. Very simple and fast.

Is the Highlight Tone Priority setting on Canon Cameras used primarily for shooting mainly white subjects or is it OK to enable it and leave it on that setting for normal shots?

Perhaps this forum should discourage any Novice from joining or perhaps create another forum dedicated to you professionals or maybe have a secret room that only the well qualified can enter. I for one learn from others and probably have asked some stupid questions, but to me they were important. If it bothers you about a worthless (in Your opinion) post then don't read, respond, or comment on it! Find something real to gripe about!

Get Magic Lantern Guide DVD for your particular camera. It will not only cover each and every button and setting on your camera, but will also include another DVD on taking great photos.
All step by step and easy to understand. Well worth having
