Does anyone use Lumina 3? I saw a video on it and it looks good for a stand alone program but some of the reviews are not the best. Didn't know if some people are not fully up on using it or is there a problem with it? Thank you.
I've been using Luminar for a number of years. Luminar 2018 was very good but Luminar 3 is a bit buggy. As a photo processor it has just about everything I need except maybe photo stacking. The AI features are very good but it does crash a least once a week on me. I'm using a Macbook Pro with Mojave. I've heard the windows version is even more buggy.
I would also recommend Jim Nix's youtube videos. He is very good.
I am anxious to get my hands on this. I have a 60d (for years) but thought full frame would give me more "sharpness" at print size 13x19. I print my own on a canon pro 9000 with Kodak metallic.
I think I will love the WiFi.
I know the Dynamic range is the same as my 60D, but I do HDL stacking, so that may not be a problem. Noise is a tough one to fight, even with Topaz Denoise.
Does anyone have this camera? What are your thoughts, good or bad?
What about lenses. I love landscapes, I want all the sharpness I can get for a decent budget.

I bought the Canon 6DM2 about two years ago and am quite happy with it. Noise is a bit of a problem in HDR scenes but that can be solved with bracketing and some HDR processing in post. As for lenses, I do recommend spending the extra $ on L series glass. It does make a big difference. I have two lenses that I use pretty much exclusively for landscapes, the 24-105 F4 IS USM (version 1) and the 70-200 F4 IS USM series 1 both of which I purchased refurbished from Canon.
Would it be wise to own both of these cameras at the same time? Or do not waste my money?
I'll second what others have said: invest in L series lenses. I have a 6DM2 and noticed a big improvement in image quality when I started shooting with L series lenses.
At this time, Outdoor Photographer has a special membership price going of 30% off for the first year. Can anyone offer their opinions if the content is worth it, and which level you are at? Thanks!
I don't think the content is worth it unless you are a beginner.
Just got the programme through for my local club next season. Our 2nd competition is TYPICALLY BRITISH.
I've got a few ideas but I'm thinking that what I'm thinking is what a lot of others are thinking too. So I'm asking Hedgehoggers (non U.K.) what do you think is typically British?
I'm thinking of RAIN, Sports Car (AH Frogeye Sprite or TR6), Red Telephone Kiosk (though none have phones in these days), Old London Bus, Full English Breakfast, Afternoon Tea etc.
Looking forward to hearing what 'forgieners' have to say!
It's my first year in the Intermediate classification and I want to make a statement.
Thanks.

I think a gentlemen drinking a cup of tea in a red telephone kiosk or on one of the double decker buses in the rain and a bowler holding an umbrella with a stiff upper lip.
