At this time, Outdoor Photographer has a special membership price going of 30% off for the first year.
Can anyone offer their opinions if the content is worth it, and which level you are at?
Thanks!

I am--they have some good things from time to time, usually the videos.

I’m referring to the online offerings, not the old magazine.

I let my magazine subscription expire because the mag was getting too thin, (front cover, back cover, no content in between).

I got it for a while, but let my subscription run out. There was too much advertising for me. See if you can find a copy at a news stand or magazine rack etc. to kook it over first.

Have been, did not find much to justify the full membership fee. But, I think for some one just starting it would be of value.

I receive Outdoor Photographer and I like it, but I just get it as a replacement for Popular Photography, so I actually never subscribed to it. As for the content, I do like it but its rather thin, so you can read through the whole thing in under 30 min.

Outdoor Photography Canada magazine is a higher quality magazine than Outdoor Photographer. I just read that they will be discontinuing the magazine. It's unfortunate that so many photography magazines are folding.

I'm not sure what you mean by "level" but yes I still subscribe but will not renew.
The magazine is now about 3/4 adds and 1/4 articles and thats being generous.
Still some really awesome photos and occasionally a decent article but a lot of their "how to"
stuff is gone.
I've never messed with the Online edition so maybe there is more in there than the actual print edition.
If there is a Barnes and Noble in your area I would go there and read it.

The articles are good and well presented. I suggest buying a copy and looking to make sure it offers what you are looking for.

I only get Lenswork now. All the other ones rehash the same material that you learned 40 years ago.

I have posted before that I think Outdoor Photography is on the slide down to closing - at least the print version. As others have noticed, it is getting thinner and thinner. I know they are really struggling to maintain a print version but I don't see it working. I do not plan to renew my subscription. In its day, it had a lot of good information and I subscribed because I was specifically interested in photographing outdoor scenes.
