You have cut rate people in all fields. I am a building contractor by trade and often fix things someone else has repaired. The problem with ruining pictures on that special day- you can't fix it. When a potential customer asked me why I am higher than the next guy I show them my previous work. Now having said that I make some money taking pictures at youth sports events, I have a nice camera and some good lens but when my daughter got married I paid 3800.00 to someone who does it full time and had a nice collection to show us ahead of time. The pictures came out great. I guess what I am saying in all fields if you can show them why you are better most will pay more for quality work and when they don't they usually wish they had later.

I bought the 7100 4 months ago it has been great. more camera than I know what to do with so far. I take sports pictures as a side job, I've made money with it and buyer's are very happy with the image quality.

I built a website on go daddy for about 40.00 on my site I put a link to there pictures on shutter fly. once they get to shutter fly they can look but not copy. they can order pictures and shutter fly prints ships and pay me. I take pictures at youth sporting events this system works wellfor me. if tthey want something not available with shutter fly they contact me for a quote.

I would suggest you turn to auto. Let the camera do all the work but you should duct tape the flash down might blind the players. Just kidding I have a d7100 which has multiple setting for diffrent lighting types I'm not sure if the d7000 has this but it might help if you have it. I am not as good yet as the other 300 opinions but I am trying!
