Much of American usage of the English language is logical but I cannot understand the term for car fuel being gas.The fuel is a petroleum product so we Brits call it petrol.

Those who follow my posts know I have the strongest affection and respect for the USA. All I can say to you keep your fingers crossed because sometimes the job is bigger than the man and he may be another ReganI remember the scorn boring down on an actor being president but he wasn't bad and Trump may be in the same vein.

I take your point,Dennis but what if your v****g choices are not of a standard you would like? You may well believe in one candidate or another but you are limited when there is only two choices. I too fought for my country but I am a trifle cynical when it comes to politicians.Anyway,good luck.

If it is possible to pick up a comedy called ,Not Going Out, with a comedian called Lee Mack, then I believe this is comedy at its best. I'm not sure if it is on any US channels
