These guys are Halloween grinches!
Jerry, they changed the ingredients on the Allsorts about 5 years ago and they really are not the same as they use to be. I use to love them, we use to get them as gifts from my family in England every year but since they changed the ingredients I don't like them any more.

Ah, too bad. "New and improved!" :D
There is a logical dilemma with posting a statement on the internet saying that things posted on the internet are lies. It is an adaptation of the old puzzle/joke among logicians which says "This statement is incorrect."

jerry, apart from the first two, the others are not main stream sellers, in fact some of them are only sold in specialised sweetshops. Bassets Allsorts are the original Liquorice allsort (and one of my favourites) although there are many other lesser imitations.

Kind of reminds me of Hostess Cakes/Snacks. The "new" Twinkies and CupCakes are deplorable. I use to love them, but now they are just awful.
All true Jerry! They missed out flying saucers, sherbet dabs, chcolate bananas, prawns, blackjacks, mojos, chocolate tools and sugar mice. I'm certain some of our Yorky Pals can add to that list! Regards, S

Allsorts are great, have to get some Bertie Bassett originals and check out the new and improved recipe. Jelly babies, magic! I carry a bag of these in my kayak as emergency rations, as good as any sports bar and tastier. Ive never seen Fruit Salads in a packet, always buy them lose (along with Blackjacks - an anniseed cousin). I've tried all the others and like them to various degrees apart from the mint (unless it's spearmint).
Sort of review I'd expect from a country that sells Hershey chocolate.

Me too, Jerry. My mouth is watering as I type. My doctor has taken me off wheat. No wheat! Bassets will be a real treat.
