I just got an email from someone in Russia who will be moving to England. For some reason, they think I am a teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL). Also surprising, they want an American to teach his family - living in England - how to speak English. If I decide to move there, they will pay me $6,000 a month. Sounds pretty good. If they send me a first class plane ticket, I might be interested.

If you need an assastant, give me a call. I speak a little English.
Judging by the guy's name, I suspect it is a Nigerian 419 scam.
This would be followed by "Send me your bank details so I can forward the first month's salary".
and how much is this new 'job' going to cost you????

Need to respond, Jerry, by telling them how much it will cost to ferry your car to England...and how much you will require for your 12 waifs that reside in your household.
Play along, drag it out and have some fun. See how far you can string them along. There are actually people dedicated to scamming the scammers. Yeah, I've had my fair share of Nigerian emails and I promptly mark them as phishing scams. I actually knew one idiot who fell for such a scam, he sent in several payments in hopes of collecting a promised big payout. HaaHahahahaha.

Send me your email address, and you can do that.
There was an online article about a guy who did that. He played along with the scammer and kept asking questions and stating his requirements till the scammer gave up.
Jerry, if you don't wish to take this offer. I might be interested, as I speak English as a Second Language, thus experience. I also speak some Russian. So, this could work.
