I scanned all glass negatives my Grandfather took over 100 years ago. At the moment they are on 3 different hard drives at my house plus my daughters have a copy on their external hard drives. Hopefully the grandchildren will be interested and enjoy them.

I say this as I look at some glass plate negatives my mother's father took sometime between 1900-15. They, too, will fade away someday, and I no longer have darkroom equipment to bring them alive again.
