Very cool....I love car shows. You have some outstanding shots here.
Faces only a mother could love....great shots.
Have you tried looking for classes at your local "City" college? I took two classes for Photoshop at a local college near where I live about 10 years ago that gave me the basics. LightRoom had just been introduced so we didn't get much instruction on the use of LR. I, like others have suggested, took that knowledge and continued seeking info from "YouTube". Once you have the basics, the videos on YouTube make much more sense. It is very odd to go back to college as an adult, especially when the instructor was younger than my kids. I took the courses for fun while most of the other students needed the class to graduate and continue to a university. When you don't care about the grade, it's a lot of fun....I wish they had advance courses as I would sign up in a heart beat. Good luck in your search.
What if the doctor is wrong and it's a girl? Will you repaint....just kidding. I remember those days. Congrats on the new arrival.
Have you tried "Goo Gone"? I've not used it on my camera, but I have on other things and it does take away the stick feeling. I hope it works.
This website link was posted by a member a while back and I've used it a couple of times. You just enter the city and it will give you all the photography hot spots to get great photos. Here is the link: https://www.shothotspot.com/
Have fun.
A while back someone post a website called Shot Hot Spots.....put in the city and in will give you places to shoot scenic photos. The web address is:

I've used it a couple of times for ideas. It is a pretty cool site. Have fun
Great shot....I can see them flying pretty darn low over my house going back to replenish, but I don't live close enough to get shots like yours. I'm in Beaumont. This photo is an excellent depiction of what has been going on in Riverside County for the last several days from the Cranston fire. The good news is....in today's report it is 82% out and 100% contained. Great work by many fire departments.....I think at last count some 1300 firefighters.
Great shot, Bruce. We'll going to be celebrating our 52nd next week (Aug.6th) in Rancho Mirage, CA. Leaving in a few hours to head out for a two week stay. It will just be the wife and me so it will have to be a "selfie" ☺
Mine is an 18-105 that came on my D90 which I use as a back up to my D750....I've gotten some excellent shots with that combination.
Great shot...I'm guessing this is somewhere around a 1949 to 1951 Pontiac....how close am I?
Yes, I did smile and clever idea. Thanks for sharing
While vacationing in Seattle a few years back, we went to the Chihuly Glass display near the Space needle.....although your photos are excellent, in my humble opinion they can't really show the beauty of his work. No matter how I tried to photograph these, there is nothing like seeing this display in person. I was amazed at what he creates out of glass. One of my favorite places that I've photographed....my long time Navy buddy took one of my photos that I took of Chihuly's work and made it into a trip-tic on canvas over his couch. I was pretty impressed how it turned out.
Same class as Abe's....or maybe worse. Adorama or B&H are very good. Also, Samy's camera is one that I've purchased most of my gear. I live about 100 miles from the closest Samy's brick and mortar store, but worth the ride to actually talk with someone that knows the gear and you can feel it, try it in the store, etc.
Good luck with your purchase.
Looks like lens flare to me, but maybe some other more experienced photographers my have other ideas. Good luck
