I have CHDSK on mine and use it a lot to do time lapse sure saves a lot of wear and tear on the 5Dii, also has motion detect that I have used to capture tree swallows landing on the birdhouse perches..

I thought the SX50 did the processing of the HDR so you do not need to use software..

Thanks for the comments!
I have observed this group for awhile and mostly seen insects and was not sure re drops.
I am mainly a bird photographer and started to dabble in Macro other than butterflies and bees mostly closeup photography.

When the weather gets colder I will do more macro shots.

I am more into drops than insects and desktop macro rather than outdoor

Here are a couple shots using a dandelion seed sprayed with water

Wacom Tablet, get rid of the mouse. Check E-Bay.

I do not allow mice on my computers I have been using a track ball for the past 10 years, I find the track ball more precise than a mouse, you only move your thumb and not the whole device.. I have purchased a pen tablet monitor and find it very accurate I am still learning it, so far so good .

It is a Huion tablet and cost lot less the the Watcom series.

I’m new to making videos with a DSLR. I don’t know what formats (MP4, MOV, etc) are compatible with iMovie or other video software that can be installed on my iMac.

Thanks
callisto

Quicktime (an Apple Product) plays all of my 7DMII movies files.. If I movie can play HD MOV files then it should handle them.. Go to a local camera store and bring a card with you and demo a camera, run it in Video mode. Bring it home and try it out or borrow a friends camera and do the same thing.

Full frame uncropped 400mm lens with 7x teleconverters ( 2x+2X+1.4X+1.6X) 7X on a 7D MII which is 1.6 crop so it is basicly 400 with 8.6 X or 3500mm approx.

The exif states 800mm

And other combinations

I just upgraded to Yosemite, apple's new os for my imac. Now my Aperture won't open--says it needs to be upgraded in the App store, which App store says it is no longer available. I sort of understand Apple deciding to deep six a fine program they have decided not to continue to support. But to make it unworkable on the new system seems shortsighted and quite frankly a pain in the pocketbook. I am converting all my aperture files to lightroom, but there are things I would still do in Aperture that are superior to Lightroom. So a warning to all hogs--if you want to continue to use Aperture, don't upgrade to Yosemite---unless I'm missing something.

Typical Apple strategy they did it to Final Cut Pro and now Aperture. Upgrade the system then upgrade all your software. Upgrade your software and buy a new computer..That is why I use the PC now instead of Apple.

Do you have a 7D II? She is referring to a specific set of circumstances with this camera and the way the exposure meter on the bottom of the viewfinder is displayed when in manual mode with auto ISO. It really has nothing to do with what you are suggesting.

Yes I do since Dec last year and this is normal as far as I can see

I also have two backfocus buttons setup, one for spot and the other for multipoint. Spot when the object or bird is in a cluttered location or flying low along the water. Multipoint when the bird is flying in the sky and is hard to pin point when out of focus.
