Because my new machine is almost 2 times faster. Really makes a difference with DxO Optics Pro which takes a couple minutes per photo when using PRIME noise reduction. In a run of 100 photos it takes a fraction of the time. Also great for anything which uses processor power, especially archiving with WinRAR or WinZIP.
