Has anyone had a similar problem? The SD500 has two memory card slots. One for the XQD, the other for a standard SD card. In the past couple of weeks, the SD card will not lock into the slot. I have tried several cards and neither can be loaded. Any advice or has anyone experienced similar issues? Thanks for your assistance.

Have had similar experiences to those cited...have never been able to fill the buffer on my D500 and the Sony XQD card...amazingly fast transfer to computer with Sony reader...

I use this lens as my "urban shooter." Is crisp, focus responsive and works well on my D750 and D500 (with additional crop factor advantages). Have had no issues using on either DX or FX camera. Recommended as a general, "one lens" solution.

I have tried to attach a RAW file many times...each time I do, the site shuts down...is that a flaw in the system or are my files too big?

Thoughts and critique will be sincerely appreciated...beautiful mature bald eagle and juvie...I am struggling with getting sharp images...lighting is good, am using back button, continuous focus...is there a secret to birds in flight capture...have raised iso somewhat, to get higher shutter but these have lots of light...sometimes using a monopod, but basically these are handheld...I know that might be an issue as well...is the sigma 150-600 typically considered "sharp?" There are lots of variables...

Thanks, understand the FOV issue...was not sure if there were other downsides...hoping not to have to duplicate lenses...I presume using a DX lens on an FX body would be an issue, but not vice versa?

Mas 24...a couple of questions, please. I have a D750 and a D500. The 500 was bought specifically for BIF and other occasions when the FPS issue is important...you mentioned you were collecting DX lenses before buying a D500. Currently, I use all the lenses I have bought for the D750 on the D500. Am I losing anything in resolution or image quality by not using DX lenses on the 500? Thanks for your reply.

This is the equivalent setup: D750 + Sigma 150-600...handheld...ISO 250...f8...1/1500...late afternoon...back button focus, continuous focus...
