Help please! Just got the Tamron 150-600 and mind do not look as good as birds done by Regis. I'm sure you have seen her beautiful bird photos.
Anyway. Please let me know how I can make these more sharp & clear.
Some were hand held, some on tripod. A little PP clarity & sharpen. Not a lot more done maybe a little fill light is all.
Thank you for your help.

I had the day off work yesterday and got up early to take my Daughter to school - was watching the sky and thought it was worth a trip to the local metropark - so glad I did - really like this one. was standing on a rock that was a little unstable- but it gave me a view with the other rocks in foreground which I thought added to the shot - what do you think? Critiques and comments welcome - Have a great day!

Very nice photo, I like the rocks in the foreground, but it is a little dark in that corner which makes it a little hard to tell they are rocks. I don't think I would lighten it however, it would take away from the dramatic look of the photo.

So this is how it went down. I'm laying on my belly along the shore of a lake in the everglades. My 500mm lens is aimed at a green heron fishing. My focus is spot on when all of a sudden everything went blurry. Assuming I must have bumped something on the lens barrel I touched the focus button and this is what I saw looking back at me. This is the eye of about a 12-14 foot gator who happened to surface directly in front of my lens at a distance of about 7 feet. This is a full frame shot, I just did a bit of straightening (and a bit of hustling to get out of there as quick as possible.

Glad I'm still around to post this one.
Love it!

Photographed at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Great River, NY. When I took this picture I thought the bee was alive, but after the creature did not move once the image was made, even with prodding from me, the realization that he/she was deceased dawned. Hopefully, being amongst all that pollen helped with the transition.

Critique, comments and suggestions welcomed.

Select download for additional resolution. Thanks. 8-)

Very nice, maybe if it was cold out, he was just not moving yet... lets go with alive, but very cold...

I got out in the yard early this morning. Most of my locals were willing to pose for these 9 shots.

Feel free to offer suggestions.

I like how you can see such detail in the Hummingbirds feathers.
