Wow, did you ever catch some nice ones here, Vicki! The 'Soloist' is my pick, but those hummers are just beautiful, and the scrub jay's shot is exquisite! Excellent work!!!

I've painted a lot of pet portraits for people and have often been asked whether I painted people. My response was "if they're covered with fur or feathers." Come in costume and I'll provide the light and camera. :-D

The mockingbird is now doing scrub jay imitations. There's no end to his repertoire. I enjoy listening to him as well as trying to get shots. Fortunately he's not put off by my presence.
