Something I saw on the side of the road on the way home from the track.
Thank you. I enjoy photographing motorsports.
You can find the most interesting things on the side of the road.
On the way home I stopped at the lake too.
Test and tune at the nearby dragstrip. There were new cars and trucks in all classes, vintage cars, motorcycles and even snowmobiles racing.

I didn't bring any big lenses because my main focus was doing video. Comments welcome.

Well, the black is less noticable. Red attracts attention.
But, if you want to save and don't care about color, by the red one.
When you get your first notice, go to the fedex site and sign in or create an account then sign in. Go through the menu and choose to be notified of any/all changes or updates and you will get just that. You will get daily updates and if the delivery date changes, you get notified of that too.
Unfortunately, if expedited shipping isn't the form of shipping in UPS or Fedex it will take a week or more to arrive unless it's during the Christmas season.
I think Fedex is not at all up to UPS speed and efficiency as Fedex has left things at my front door, where I have a sign on the door that says "No deliveries to this door. Deliver to back door second floor ONLY" yet they still leave packages there, where things get stolen all the time. Fedex has had to replace three different deliveries in the past year and they have my account listed as "Back door, second floor" in their system (I had to go to their website and choose what door to have things delivered to many years ago).

I've been asked/instructed to make an A3+ [or as near as possible] print from a colour image 1000 by 650 pixels.
I'm thinking of resampling it by 100 pixel increments, using Automatic in Photoshop CC, up to 1800 on the long side, then printing at 100 pixels/inch.
Anyone got a better recipe?
Alan.
This software will resize a photo with excellent results IF you're starting out with an image taken with a 8-10 MP camera and is excellent quality. ON1 Resize 2018. They may have a trial and if so, try it.

Hi Canon... why does my Canon7D offer a choice of sRGB or RGB, If shooting in either doesn't make any difference? Would it be better to shoot in RGB and then export in LR for print sRGB?
Some people shoot in jpeg.

I just say "thank you". They're usually impressed more by the lens even though they said camera. Unless they want to engage in a discussion, anything other than thank you just seems snaky to me to something that was likely given as a compliment.
Yes, it is nice when people see you coming and just move aside when they see the lens you have on your camera...
