Did he say why? Really curious!

Performance. Stated a major difference experienced in low light situations like pro basketball games. Nikon performed well without the use of strobes where as Canon couldn't. Other reasons I'm sure.

I was recently told by a Canon user that my camera (nikon D700 was crap and that Nikon was going down the toilet. No doubt my feelings were hurt considering I have top notch equipmentI was upset because I would never say that about any camera, even and old box camera because I have always believed it is the photographer not the camera that makes the picture. Tell me I am wrong

Steve Fine, photo editor of Sports Illustrated, told me that he recently converted all his staff photographers to Nikon from Canon. What do you think your Canon friend would say about that? I tell you this and I'm a dedicated Canon shooter.

Today Phoenix announced that they have ended chronic homelessness among U.S. Veterans. They have worked with a wide coalition of groups and have found housing for all veterans in their city. They have become a model for other cities to follow in the coming months and years. Well done, Phoenix.

As a vet, I say God Bless to the city of Phoenix and it's people.

ummm.... well, if we really want to be historically correct, it's Happy Solstice. And if saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" can run your god out of this country, then maybe you should reconsider your deity, because the one you pray to can't be too powerful if that can get him gone. Just sayin'

Merry Christmas to all my fellow Christians. Happy Hannuka to my Jewish friends and to my democrat, liberal, wacko, nut job friends like Gnslngr, GOD BLESS!

Gee,how many of those "terrorists" were NOT radical "terrorist" at all UNTIL they were recruited BY the FBI? The plots were dreamed up by the FBI,the money to do it came from the FBI,the young men were sought out & brain washed by the FBI,the "explosives" etc all provided by the FBI. In the First World Trade Center Bombing it was the FBI's own guy that made the bomb. FBI knew all about, planned it.
Same with 911. How many times did the 'terrorists' "Just get lucky"? Really? They were all UNQUALIFED applicants, yet they were issued Visa anyway, weren't they? What did 911 PREDICTABLE do for the CIA's budget? FBI budget? Military budget? Just innocently failed US? Lol. They had to come up with something to replace Communism as America's "big Enemy",didn't they? They weren't going to give it all up just because Communism fell. What would the defense budget be like today without 911? Who would the 'enemy' be? Why would we still need to maintain a huge.Cold War sized military? We wouldn't & people wouldn't pay for it any more than they'd send their sons off to war to steal control of another nations OIL. Muslim live on top of the world's oil supply that's why they were chosen as the new enemy. What excuse would we have to invade the Middle East without terrorism? 911 was an inside job.
Gee,how many of those "terrorists" were ... (show quote)

At least I don't live vicariously through a horse.. I only once ever offered you advice on what I considered to be a outlandish post, it is no secret that I am no fan of Obama but if you want people to take you seriously you have to sometimes temper your thoughts... It is evident that you do not consider this to be a problem for you but you might take a moment and consider how others see you.

Wimp? Nice have not been called that before, of course those who know me would have no cause.

So, now it is "offensive" to include "BO" with other black politicians?

You haven't been living in this country if you don't see that blacks are NOT supposed to be "criticized" even when they are muzzie marxists determined to bring down the U. S., or when they go "polar bear hunting."

The fact that "your president" has a 37% approval rating and that the majority of under 25-year-olds want him "recalled," makes it obvious there are a lot of people that have a "distaste for BO." So, you can point your finger at 2/3rds of the country. And, yes, everyone has a right to criticize aberrant behavior, even in Washington.

Mandela has been widely hailed as a saint, but those who adore him ignore some little known facts about his actions and past.

Error: Many people believe he was put in prison for speaking out or for political beliefs.
FACT: He went to prison for organizing the ambush murder of police officers, a fact he never denied nor expressed regret for.

Error: Many people believe he was a pacifist in his politics.
FACT: Mandela advocated violence and organized violence against political rivals. A favorite technique of murder and intimidation was "necklacing," putting a gasoline-soaked tire around the neck of an opponent and burning him alive.

Error: Many people believe his wife, Winnie Mandela, was a decent person.
FACT: Even those South Africans who admire Mandela agree that his wife was a crook and a total thug. She diverted donations to Nelson to her own ends, building a palace for herself overlooking Soweto. She surrounded herself with goons, known as the "soccer club" because they dressed in soccer style uniforms. Winnie participated in the torture/beating to death of a young boy, by herself and members of her "soccer club" while Nelson was in prison.
