Uk law saws I should in theory be able to stand anywhere in a public place and photograph, but I am always being harassed or asked what I'm doing ( should be obvious ) or asked to stop, now it seems, police are asking us for our details, which is illegal unless under section 44 of the Terrorism act, ( my detail are then however wrongly gained ) are in the system and I am suspect ! when I did nothing wrong !
anyone else having problems ?

Graham
PS a photo I did manage to get without be bothered ! I was stood up the top Of Ashby De La Zouch Castle at the time !!

many thanks for all your inputs, I am going to go in store and handle the D7100 and also try to handle a D700 which someone said was a good step up for little more than the 610 ! Graham

If you can find one at a REPUTABLE dealer you might be able to afford the glass that the camera deserves

Can anyone say what lens they think falls into that category ? Graham

Have to say I struggled with just about every program out there,I use now Zoner for just about everything I do, the only other program which does things without all the hard work, is called (and its free ) perfect photo 4 ! try it, you will like both these, I promise . Graham UK

My own feeling is, yes it,s full frame (all hail the full frame God ! ) but unless you want to print every photo half a wall size, why do you need it, but that's different from wanting it ! if money is plentiful, ( not here jealous ) go for it why not ,your a long time dead ! ha ha Graham (siamesecatmanuk )

I will try the pencil eraser next time, yes it does look like copper and I should imagine the surface is tarnished without any outside contact (fingers etc. ) so I have learned something today thanks to Ugly Hedgehog Graham UK

Yes it was instantly gone so it must have been, the main thing I think is I couldn't see anything at all, but obviously there was grease forming a barrier, which was washed away, I was so shocked it worked, you live and learn ! ha ha Graham
